Run by the amazing dancer and promoter Anne White., Planet Egypt is a consortium of acclaimed performers and highly-skilled and experienced teachers of Raqs Sharqi, and other Oriental dance styles.
Founded in 2003, it draws on the best talent that professional Oriental dance in the
UK has to offer.
Aims:
Cultivate a deeper understanding and love of Oriental music and dance
Promote high standards of Oriental dance education - see classes
Support fledgling dance professionals - see showcases
Work with and feature leading exponents of Oriental dance, see photos
Produce and stage quality shows that are enjoyable, inclusive and successful

Sandra Bennet
Sandra is a multi-talented and all round fun person. She plays guitar and sings and is also a talented actress and comedien. Sandra has played a lot of international gigs, recorded a CD of her own songs and has played a lot of top venues in Liverpool.
Sandra is 'A PURVEYER OF DREAMS, A MYSTIC WHO CAN DESCRIBE THE INTIMACIES AND BITTERNESS OF RELATIONSHIPS.' Sandra is one of the most entertaining people I know.

Tina Carroll
Tina has been a mate of mine since I was a teenager. Over the years she has proven her commitment to helping others in a variety of ways. She now runs a successful holistic health practise. Tina is a caring person who will put you at ease and give you a great treatment.

Mavis
A fastinating woman; her paintings explore themes of nature, dark creatures, witches and fairies. Mavis' unique style has meant she has been exhibited a lot and has sold a lot of her work. Mavis is also a bellydancer who has performed at a number of shows. A powerful and interesting woman who is also very kind and supportive. Contact her through me. Mavis is based in Southport. Carole Gould
Carole is a dancer and slimming consultant. Her classes are full because of her amazing and bubbly personality. Carole has a voice not unlike Joanna Lumley. She is available for after dinner speeches and voice-overs. Carole is a fun person who is also a good belly dancer and drummer. Carole has done a variety of shows and has worked as an MC. She is a 'larger than life' character.
